What you need
- A GoFaceless account
Steps
- 1
Open the template
Open Templates and tap Whiteboard explainer.
- 2
Say what it explains
Under What does the video explain?, choose A topic, My text or A link. With a topic, GoFaceless looks up the facts first. With your text or link, it adds no facts of its own.
- 3
Choose the voice and length
Under Voice and length, pick a voice and 30, 45 or 60 seconds. The voice speaks English.
- 4
Make the video
Tap Make my video. The button shows the credits the video uses, and they come back if it fails. With no plan yet, you choose one first.
Why a hand drawing holds attention
People watch to see what the hand draws next. Each drawing appears as the voice says it, so the eye and the ear get the same idea at the same time.
Your task
Make a 45-second explainer from your own text of 5 sentences or fewer.
It worked when: Every drawing in the video matches a sentence you wrote.
If something goes wrong
- "We could not read that page. Paste its text instead."
- Some sites block reading. Copy the text from the page and choose My text.
Questions
Where do the facts come from?
For a topic, from a web search made before the script. Numbers you write yourself always win.
