What you need

  • A GoFaceless account

Steps

  1. 1

    Open a new chat

Open GoFaceless. The box says Describe the video you want to make…

  2. 2

    Write one idea

Say who it is for, the one point, and the length. For example: "A 40-second video for new runners: why the first week should feel too easy."

  3. 3

    Choose how it runs

Autonomous makes the whole video with no stops. Controlled stops at each step so you can approve it.

  4. 4

    Read the plan

The chat shows the plan: timed scenes and the credits it reserves. Then it makes the video.

  5. 5

    Change it in the chat

When it is ready, type what to change. A change that needs new scenes shows its price first. You approve it before anything is made.

Why one point

A short video has time for one idea. Two ideas split the attention and people leave before the second. One point, with its reason, is what people remember and share.

Your task

Make a video from an idea of one sentence that names who it is for and the one point.

It worked when: The finished video makes that one point, and only that point.

If something goes wrong

The video tries to say too much.
Cut your idea to one sentence before you send it. Ask for a length of 30 to 60 seconds.
You want to approve each step.
Switch to Controlled before you send your idea.

Questions

Can I change one scene without making it all again?

Yes. A change to the words or the voice keeps the filmed scenes. Only scenes that must change are made again.
