You pick photos that make the video look like you from the first second to the last.

What you need
Steps
- 1
Start with one clear photo
One person, face to the camera, light from the front. A selfie works. Head to toe is best.
- 2
Add more angles
After the first photo, two more boxes appear: Another angle and Side view or full length. Add the same person in both.
- 3
Reuse a photo
Tap Or use a recent photo to use a photo you already uploaded.
- 4
Check the warning
If a photo is too small, the box says so. Change it before you make the video.
Why more angles help
Before the swap, GoFaceless turns your photos into a clean full-body and face reference. Each extra angle shows a part of your face that one photo hides. So the face stays the same when you turn your head in the video.
Your task
Pick three photos of yourself: one from the front, one from the side, one head to toe, all lit from the front.
It worked when: No warning shows under any of the three photos.
If something goes wrong
- The face looks a little different from yours.
- Add a second and third photo of the same person from other angles. More angles make the likeness sharper.
- "Small photo. A sharper one gives a better likeness."
- The photo is under 800 pixels on its short side. Use the original photo, not a screenshot or a photo from a chat app.
- "These photos couldn't be used for this video."
- Your credits come back. Try a clear photo of one person, lit from the front, with nothing over the face.
Questions
Can I use a photo of someone else?
Only a photo of yourself or of someone who agreed. You confirm you have permission before every video.
Do sunglasses or a hat matter?
Take them off for your photos. Anything over the face hides what the reference needs.
