What you need
- A GoFaceless account
Steps
- 1
Open the templates
Open the menu and tap Templates. Each card is a video that is going viral now.
- 2
Pick one
Type a name in Search templates, or scroll. Tap Use template on the one you like.
- 3
Add your photo
Tap the photo box and add one photo of yourself. The hint says it: A selfie works. Head to toe is best.
- 4
Make the video
Tap Make my video. The button shows the credits the video uses, and they come back if it fails. With no plan yet, you choose one first.
- 5
Wait for it, or leave
You land in the video's chat, which shows each stage. You can close the page: tap Notify me when it's ready and we tell you when it is ready. Then it is in My Videos.
Why a trend works
People already know the original, so they watch to see what changed. Your face is the change. That is why a trend gets more views than a new idea: the hook is already in their head.
Your task
Make one template video with your own photo.
It worked when: A finished video is in My Videos.
If something goes wrong
- You cannot find the template you saw.
- Search by one word from its name. Templates are listed by name, not by the song.
- "These photos couldn't be used for this video."
- Your credits come back. Try a clear photo of one person, lit from the front, with nothing over the face.
Questions
How many photos do I need?
One is enough. You can add up to three photos of the same person for a sharper likeness.
How long does it take?
Most template videos take 20 to 25 minutes. You can leave the page: we tell you when it is ready.
